Mark studied drawing, painting and sculpting at the University of Notre Dame, the Massachusetts College of Art and the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts. Mark currently lives in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania.

In September, 2011, Mark's painting Woman Watching Flying Trapeze was awarded Best in Show at the 12th Annual Landis Woods Art Show, in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania.
